Smartphones Are Great For Taking Field Service Photos
The iPhone 10 has a great 12-megapixel camera with zoom features. There are free and low-cost applications at the AppStore that will allow you to add date and time stamps to the photos. There are also free Windows applications that will allow you to batch-reduce photos to a lower file size. When starting out or working part-time, you can probably use your smartphone for field service inspections. Below is an iPhone 7 photo with a date/time stamp. An iPhone with 256 GB of storage will store a lot of HD photos. I also like to shoot 1080 HD videos with a date/time stamp. Videos are great for documenting problems at a property. You can take video and then later clip out some photos.
